It is Flawed, let alone False, to Find Fashion Frivolous yet not Freeing

It is so easy for society to label the fashion industry as frivolous and materialistic. However, there is much more than just judging a book by its cover.

"Here, for the first time in its entirety, is the full length documentary by Alexa Chung for British Vogue. Guided by questions from the viewing public from all over the world, Chung investigates fashion from the inside out. Rather than a world that is frivolous, elitist and unprofitable, Chung proves that as an art form, an industry and most of all as a career choice, fashion can be underrated and holds masses of opportunity for anyone who wants to get involved. More than this, she shows that from Olivier Rousteing to brand-new graduates, there's heart, dedication and humour."

I enjoy this documentary mainly because Alexa even encounters a CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) and psychology department run by fashion school graduates trying to bring in more ethical practices inside the fashion industry.
Ultimately, blending philanthropy and the fashion / art industry is something I wish to do in the near future. And looking at content like this, not only defending fashion but opening up the possibilities and potential it has to do good in the world, is inspiring. I also loved it because it's a full hour of Alexa Chung which is always a win! Hope you guys enjoy!
